In this webinar, the presenters will be sharing findings from their CAULLT-funded study into how universities in Australia and New Zealand are currently supporting inclusive assessment in policy and practice. Drawing on data from surveys (n=26), interviews (university leaders n=14, practitioners, n=14), and international literature, they will discuss the variation in how inclusive assessment is conceptualised within the sector, alongside the real-world opportunities and challenges experienced as participants tried to move towards more inclusive practices. Examples of innovative and inclusive practices will be shared to illustrate the many creative possibilities for improving the learner experience. During the webinar, we will also be launching a new Open Educational Resource entitled Leading Inclusive Assessment which is designed to support people to create more inclusive assessment practices that suit their own educational contexts.
