Rob Gray's Profile

Senior Advisor, Scholarship of Learning and Teaching University of Canberra

I joined the University of Canberra as Senior Advisor in the Scholarship of Learning in September 2023. Before joining the University of Canberra, I worked as a lecturer in Modern European and Environmental History in the UK. Over 18 years' teaching, I worked at University College London, King's College London, the University of Keele, Anglia Ruskin University and the University of Winchester. Whilst at Winchester, I was Head of Learning & Teaching in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and served as an academic governor for 5 years. I have particular interest in assessment reform, especially programmatic assessment, employability in the curriculum, and education for sustainable development. I have researched and published on historical geography, landscape, and rural society in Hungary, as well as having worked on popular perceptions of weather and climate within historical communities.
