Polly Lai's Profile

Dr. Polly Lai is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Teaching and Learning at Southern Cross University. She has led major university-wide initiatives, including the SCM transition projects for the Faculty of Business, Law, and Arts; the integration of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into curriculum design; the Peer Review of Teaching program; and the HEA Fellowship Programme at Southern Cross University. Beyond her leadership in teaching and learning, Dr. Lai serves as an Associate Editor for the Australasian Journal of Educational Technology (AJET). Since 2019, she has mentored over 300 academic staff in curriculum design, learning innovation, and HEA fellowship development, fostering excellence in higher education teaching and practice.
