ProfessorProfessor Michelle Picard currently serves as Pro Vice Chancellor Learning and Teaching Innovation at Flinders University in South Australia. Michelle has been working in Higher Education since 2001 in a range of positions from academic developer to Dean Learning and Teaching. She is particularly interested in embedding academic and professional literacies including academic integrity into the curriculum and technologically enhanced learning. She has worked at all stages of the student journey from pre-enrolment enabling and English language pathways through to researcher education for postgraduate research students and staff. She is fascinated by the differences and similarities in learning across and between disciplines and loves translating and adapting pedagogies from one discipline to the next. She is also a constructive alignment and quality assurance geek!
