Conference on Digital Teaching, Assessment and Learning – Call for Participation

digiTAL 2020 is the inaugural conference on Teaching, Assessment and Learning in the Digital age. The conference is being held at Coastlands, Umhlanga in Durban, South Africa from 3 to 4 December 2020.

digiTAL 2020 will:

• Focus on unpacking current practices in the higher education sector and the systematic consideration of the quality, effectiveness and practices that will illuminate patterns and trends in digital education; and,
• Consider all aspects of teaching and learning from initial curriculum design, through to improving engagement, assessment and feedback

Key Dates
Deadline for Paper/Workshop submission: 30 May, 2020
Notification of Acceptance: 15 July 2020
Revised Paper Submission Deadline: 15 August 2020
Early bird registration closes: 1 September, 2020
Registration closes: 15 November 2020

All accepted papers will be published in the refereed conference proceedings ISBN: 978-0-620-86584-5, provided one of the authors is registered and at least one of the authors present the paper. All papers will be double-blind reviewed.

Selected good academic quality papers will be invited, post the conference, for possible publication as a Chapter. The book proposal is currently under consideration by publishers.
