Published by on the 28 May 2024
The Open Access Publishing Association challenges the current model of publishing and aims to champion open access globally and are striving to support more diamond open access research, and leads the way in its flagship journal, Journal of University Teaching and Learning Practice. The OAPA Board is seeking to fill new positions across three committees. We welcome expressions of interest for:
  • Two Educational Quality Committee members who can lead one of the following: a) the Course Evaluation Strategy, b) the Course Design and Approval Strategy, c) the Educational Technology Strategy, or d) the Teacher/Facilitator Management Strategy.
  • Two Partnerships and Members Committee members who can lead one of the following: a) organisation’s conference strategy, or b) digital communication strategy.
  • One Technology Committee member who can contribute to, and lead, the strategic positioning, operations, and maintenance of a bespoke Open Journals Systems instance.
The roles require someone who is interested in joining a passionate group of international academics to lead a global strategy to better, fairer, and more open research.
Please send an expression of interest email to Dr Jo-Anne Kelder (email: secretary@open-publishing.org) by Friday 15 June 2024. You are welcome to email questions prior to 13 June 2024.
Please include: the committee and role you are interested in, your relevant experience and capabilities, a statement of your leadership philosophy and approach.
